![]() ![]() ![]() Is stupid to relate the game play skill to the plot itself. Now, the bad thing about Grey being heavy influenced by CoF and maybe the Afraid of monsters projects, is that all of these works want to emulate the superb-replayability of the mod itself! Which I think is just really freaked up: I mean, Grey gives you a really boring and low ending if you play it on “Normal” skill, and the cooler and entertaining-revealing ending if you try it on “Hardcore”skill that’s just annoying, I mean i don’t even think in replay the whole mod in order to unblock silly features or get the cooler ending. Now, I think the CoF reference is important because, CoF set good story plots and really immersive environments and atmospheres, which we can obviously see here in Grey too, the locations for the development of the story are also very similar to CoF, a house, a subway station, a hospital, and lonely and freaking scary dark alley-streets, the monsters and delusions also are cool in Grey and remember me the ones in CoF. I think this is a great mod for SOURCE engine because is very in the psycho-horror line like Cry of Fear, indeed it’s clear CoF put a big and heavy influence in the Grey Project, which could be a good or bad point of reference. ![]() I ended Grey in December of 2012, and took me 4 hours of gameplay, so it’s a very long horror mod. ![]()
